YOU WILL NEED AROUND 75% OF YOUR SALARY !

Most financial sources and experts, (Hey, I'm one! Don't you know anyone who writes a book or course is an expert?) agree that we will need at least 75% of our pre-retirement salary or income in order to maintain the same lifestyle. Frankly, I'd plan for a better life style after retirement! I mean, more cruises, more vacations, more traveling! You might actually need 100 + % of your pre-retirement income!

This chart allows us to SEE how much we will need if our salary is _________? Let's look at one example, assume your salary is now $50,000. Our chart assumes that we will retire in 15 years so our salary will double, assuming we'll get 5% raises each year, to about $104,000. Our estimated retirement income needs will be about $78,000. Now, do we have enough assets to produce the necessary income?
Let’s take a look at our 40 old from our earlier example, beginning salary was $60,000, savings were $6,000 with a retirement nest egg of $588,000 and a pre-retirement salary of  $124,800.

The 75% rule, would indicate that the now 55 year old, needs income of $93,600 a year. Is the $588,000 a big enough nest egg?

Now, we have an estimate of How Much We'll Need, now let's look at a chart that will show us How Much We'll Need in The Bank to Spend a $1,000 a Month!

How Much is Needed?
