Future Value Calculations

Here’s another worksheet for you to fill in with your estimates. This worksheet will require some research but you should do this worksheet every year and keep it updated with new information from your company’s benefits division and/or the Social Security Administration.

With many of the "MONEY MANAGEMENT" type programs on the market, you can also automatically update the values of all your stocks and bonds. I use Quicken for my personal accounting needs and on a monthly basis I update my market values via Quicken's web site. I then use the values, on a periodic basis, to estimate the future net worth of each asset. Use the growth rate factors on The Growth Rate Chart.

Growth Rates

For those of you who may just be starting on the road to financial freedom, please be sure that you see the outline, How To Start
