Total Family Stewardship

If you're ready to find God's financial plan for your life, these pages will point the way.

I can almost guarantee you that as you start this material and commit His plan for your financial life:

YOU WILL EXPERIENCE DISCOURAGEMENTS,
FAILURES AND DISAPPOINTMENTS.

The unseen enemy in the Garden of Your Life will attack your commitment and your resolve to read and study this material. Read how this happened in my life!

Weeds In The Garden

If you will email me your commitment to God's plan, I'll put you on my prayer list for the 40 days.

How To Start?

I suggest you start with a 40 day program of praying,
seeking God's will and direction for your financial
life and during that time follow this outline.

This version is based upon the Florida Baptist Convention's workbook "Christian Financial Planning". I am listed as a contributor to this booklet and this PowerPoint references the booklets pages. I presented this version in January 2007 at the South Side Baptist Church in Ft . Pierce, FL. An audio sermon of the Stewardship of Life is also on the Sermon page. The booklet is available through the convention.  If you are a Florida convention church call and ask for your copy of the booklet.

    Two Big D's

  • Cruise the Internet for Financial Materials. Start with the links on this site.

  • Check with your local school system for some adult education or college level classes on personal finances. BE AWARE! Some of these classes are taught by sales oriented folks.

  • Start back at the Top!

Also, be aware that I did not understand much of this material the first time I read it! In many cases, you'll just want to read it to gain some insight and understanding. Then, as God directs you in your personal life and devotional life, re-read selected parts of the material.  You'll find, in fact, that much of the material is duplicated or re-written in another format so that you'll end up "seeing" it two or three times. That's the plan--the more you read, study and pray the more He will reveal to you! Search this site for the
Triple Korny and you'll see that I usually have to read something 3 times before I can get a clear understanding.
